MSNBC Caves to McCain's Threats

The big, bad boys at NBC News have caved to the threats of John McCain.

Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann will no longer be hosting primetime election coverage. The McCain campaign complained about "bias" and threatened to pull out of a debate this fall because it's being moderated by Tom Brokaw.

That's the crux of this story. McCain blackmailed NBC by saying that he would only participate in the debate if there were no progressive commentators on afterward.

Shame on John McCain, but a greater shame is on NBC for giving in to him.

Hey, after all, so what if we had to watch Barack Obama debate himself on NBC? At least we wouldn't be listening to lies throughout half of it.
